The runway at Loop Fashion Week — New Delhi Edition (LFW/26) witnessed a captivating celebration of India’s rich textile heritage as model Kanishka Jha walked for artisan designer Irfan Abdulla, presenting a striking Ajrakh saree that beautifully connected traditional craftsmanship with contemporary fashion.
The showcase highlighted the artistic depth of Ajrakh, one of India’s most distinctive traditional textile printing traditions. Known for its intricate motifs, handcrafted printing techniques and distinctive visual language, Ajrakh carries a deep cultural legacy associated with the ancient textile traditions of the Indian subcontinent.
